Ati Manel – the story behind it
Ati Manel was the company’s great-grandfather, who dedicated his life to his canning business. World War I changed the conditions for the Portuguese canning industry significantly, and the number of factories was halved leading up to the 1930s. During World War II, demand for canned food rose again, and the company experienced a boom of newfound busyness.
When the estate was settled after Ati Manel’s death, a collection of recipes, notes, printing plates, and marketing material was found. This material was organized and used to create a redesign that still carries the spirit and visual expression from back then.
Today, Ati Manel continues the canning tradition, where history, craftsmanship, and authentic taste go hand in hand.

If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.
Shipping of frozen goods to private customers:
All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.
If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
