Denmark produces some of the best trout in the world, and the producer Musholm is excellent proof of that. Musholm’s production is located in the Great Belt, right by Reersø north of Korsør.
Musholm is owned by the OKUMURA family from Japan, and a large part of the trout is shipped to Japan directly after production.
The fish are sea-farmed, which means they swim in constantly clean water with a natural flow-through that keeps the fish always moving due to the ocean current. This provides optimal conditions for producing the trout and the roe, and results in the чистest trout you can find on the market.
Musholm is ASC certified, meaning that the entire production takes place in a healthy and responsible manner, with direct traceability all the way back to each individual fish. Musholm handles the whole process, from hatching trout eggs, to farming in sea pens, and finally slaughtering and freezing in their own freezer facility. The process from slaughter to the trout being cleaned, salted, and in the freezer takes under 12 hours.

Delivery of chilled goods:

We guarantee that the package remains cold for up to 12 hours after arrival at the selected parcel shop. Please make sure to collect your package promptly. If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.
Shipping of frozen goods to private customers:
All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.
If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
