Graham’s “The Tawny” is a classic port wine that for many years has been one of the house’s most popular wines. It represents Graham’s Master Blenders’ interpretation of a younger tawny style, where fruit, structure, and oak aging work together.
The wine is aged for an average of 7–9 years in oak barrels, creating a harmonious balance between the grapes’ ripe fruit character and the added complexity that develops during barrel aging. The result is an elegant, well-rounded port with a soft structure and a pleasant depth.
Graham’s tawny ports are made exclusively from quality wines from the house’s own vineyards in the Douro Valley. The complex aromas and flavor nuances develop through careful aging and blending of wines from Graham’s four historic quintas.
