Dried Lime Leaves

Dried kaffir lime leaves are a classic ingredient in Southeast Asian cuisine. They provide a fresh, citrusy aroma and flavor that elevates any dish with their distinctive tanginess and aromatic depth.
The leaves come from the kaffir lime tree and are typically used in Thai curry dishes, soups such as Tom Yum and Tom Kha, as well as stir-fries with coconut milk and spices. The complex combination of lime, lemon, and a lightly floral aroma makes them indispensable in both Thai and Lao cuisine.
The dried leaves can be used throughout cooking and removed before serving, or they can be crushed to release even more aroma. Some also choose to fry them until crisp and use them as decorative garnish on finished dishes – an easy way to add fragrance and texture.
Use:
  • For curries, soups, and stir-fries with coconut milk
  • In marinades, sauces, and dressings for a fresh citrus aroma
  • As garnish – whole or fried for extra fragrance and crispness
Origin: Thailand
Storage: Dry and cool, away from sunlight.

Dried kaffir lime leaves are a staple in many professional kitchens – a simple yet essential product that brings authentic Thai character to any dish.
