Brushery – Where wine, design and storytelling come together

Brushery is a Swedish design studio that combines the world of wine with aesthetic precision and graphic craftsmanship. Behind the project are Linnea Hellström (CEO) and Elin Aschberg (Creative Director) – two women with very different but complementary mindsets. One structured and goal-oriented, the other playful and visual. Together, they have created a space where wine’s terroir, history and geography can be experienced in a new way – through art.

Why wine maps?

Wine is not just a drink. It is a journey, a feeling and an encounter with the land, the culture and the people behind the bottle. A wine map from Brushery functions as a conversation piece, a sensory guide and a decoration that brings the wine experience into a new dimension.

How a wine map is created

At Brushery, nothing is left to chance. Each map takes shape through extensive research and graphic precision, and the artistic process takes weeks – sometimes months. The maps are printed on exclusive Hahnemühle fine art paper, which with its texture and matte elegance elevates the illustration into an art object.

The result is not only beautiful – but also cartographically accurate and visually balanced, with a line that both respects the origin of the wine and appeals to the modern eye.

A living library of wine experiences

Brushery’s goal is to create a collection of maps that speaks to both the experienced wine collector and the curious beginner. The first maps cover carefully selected classic wine regions, but the assortment is continuously expanding – always in dialogue with wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
