Foie Gras de Canard – Terrine, Spiced
This foie gras terrine is made from duck according to a unique recipe with paprika, cognac, and Espelette pepper. The combination delivers a rounded and aromatic profile with a lightly spicy character.

The terrine is prepared mi-cuit, meaning it is gently cooked in the packaging it is sold in. The method can be compared to sous vide and preserves both texture, juiciness, and aroma. The terrine is ready to serve.
Serving
- Let the pack stand at room temperature for 10–20 minutes before serving. If the temperature is too low, both creaminess and aromatic expression are reduced.
- Slice at the last moment with a very thin, smooth knife rinsed in hot water. Wipe the knife between each slice for a clean cut.
- Traditionally served in slices about 1 cm thick on toast or a cold plate. Foie gras is not spread – it is placed on top of the bread.
Recommended amount:
- 50–70 g per person as a starter
- 100–130 g per person as a main course

Delivery of chilled goods:
All chilled goods are shipped securely in insulated boxes with plenty of ice packs, so your package stays cold during transport. We guarantee that the package remains cold for up to 12 hours after arrival at the selected parcel shop. Please make sure to collect your package promptly. If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.
Shipping of frozen goods to private customers:
All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.
If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
