Delivery of frozen berries
Our whole frozen berries cannot be shipped as frozen goodsânot even with the purchase of frozen shipping. This is due to the large surface area of the berries, which causes them to thaw faster during transport.
All frozen berries are therefore shipped in cooler boxes with ice packs, so they are kept cold all the way. Upon receipt, however, you should expect that the berries may be partially or fully thawed.
Important to know:
- Always order your frozen berries as close as possible to the date they are needed.
- After thawing, the berries have a shelf life of up to 5 days.
This way, you ensure the best quality and utilization of the products.
Information about delivery of frozen fruit products
Frozen fruit products such as purées, juices, and berries may be slightly thawed upon receipt. This is because the natural sugar component in the fruit thaws faster than the water-based component during transport.
The products are transported in insulated packaging, and the temperature does not exceed 5 °C. Therefore, the goods can be refrozen without any problems, as they are still kept at a food-safe temperature throughout transport.
Slight thawing of fruit-based products is therefore normal and does not affect the productâs quality or safety.

Delivery of chilled goods:
All chilled goods are shipped securely in insulated boxes with plenty of ice packs, so your package stays cold during transport. We guarantee that the package remains cold for up to 12 hours after arrival at the selected parcel shop. Please make sure to collect your package promptly. If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.
Shipping of frozen goods to private customers:
All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.
If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
