About Albert Bichot
Maison Albert Bichot was founded in 1831. The coat of arms on the label dates from 1350 and shows a doe, which in French is called biche.
The company began as a wine merchant and was later expanded with its own vineyards and wine production. Today, Albert Bichot has teams located close to the areas where the grapes are grown, including in Chablis, Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. This reduces transport and provides better control over vinification.
Albert Bichot today owns six estates in Burgundy and produces wines from Grand Cru level to AOC Burgundy.
