These dehydrated capers are always made starting from salted capers, which are first thoroughly rinsed and then dried for 48–72 hours. The process concentrates aroma and texture, resulting in an intense, crisp, and aromatic caper with a pronounced character.
The raw material is Capperi di Pantelleria IGP, a protected designation of origin with historical roots dating back to Greek and Roman times. On the island of Pantelleria, capers are grown in volcanic soil and a warm climate, which contributes to their distinctive aromatic profile. Cultivation follows traditional methods: the soil is worked and fertilized in winter, the plants are pruned, and harvesting takes place at dawn from mid-May to the end of September. The buds then slowly mature in brine with sea salt—a technique passed down through generations.

Delivery of chilled goods:

We guarantee that the package remains cold for up to 12 hours after arrival at the selected parcel shop. Please make sure to collect your package promptly. If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.

Shipping of frozen goods to private customers:

All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.

If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
