Kumquat purée – fresh citrus with aromatic depth
Andros Chef kumquat purée is made from 100% kumquat and contains no added sugar. Kumquat is a small citrus fruit with a distinctive balance between fresh tartness and natural sweetness from the peel, which provides a rounded, aromatic flavor with a slight bitterness.
The flavor is intense, fresh, and complex, making the purée a versatile ingredient for professional chefs and pastry chefs. It adds depth, acidity, and freshness to both desserts and savory dishes and is perfect in recipes where you want pure citrus character without dominance.

Delivery information for frozen fruit products
Frozen fruit products such as purées, juices, and berries may be slightly thawed upon receipt. This is because the natural sugar component in the fruit thaws faster than the water-based component during transport.
The products are transported in insulated packaging, and the temperature does not exceed 5 °C. Therefore, the goods can be refrozen without issues, as they are still kept at a food-safe temperature throughout transport.
Slight thawing of fruit-based products is therefore normal and does not affect the product’s quality or safety.

As the product is natural and without stabilizers, the purée may separate upon thawing into a watery part and a fruit part. This is normal and is easily recombined with a blender or immersion blender.
The purées are not finished products, but pure basic ingredients developed for professional use, where chefs and pastry chefs adjust flavor and consistency as needed.

Delivery of chilled goods:
All chilled goods are shipped securely in insulated boxes with plenty of ice packs, so your package stays cold during transport. We guarantee that the package remains cold for up to 12 hours after arrival at the selected parcel shop. Please make sure to collect your package promptly. If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.
Shipping of frozen goods to private customers:
All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.
If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
