Shiso flowers – also known as Hanaho, Hojiso, or Perilla – are used in Japanese cuisine as an aromatic garnish and flavor enhancer.
The flowers have a slightly vegetal and green flavor, which differs from the leaves’ more mint-like character. They can be used directly without further preparation.
The small, decorative flowers are especially used for sushi, sashimi, salads, and meat dishes, where they add both visual lightness and aromatic freshness. They can be left on the sprig as decoration or gently plucked off and sprinkled over the dish.
Shiso flower sprigs are also suitable as an aromatic garnish in cocktails, where they contribute both fragrance and an elegant appearance.

Delivery of chilled goods:

If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.
Shipping of frozen goods to private customers:
All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.
If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
