Now you can make your own silicone mold with this silicone putty from Silli Creations.
You can cast anything, from a Phillips screwdriver to a flower.
All you have to do is mix the two putties, knead well, and then shape as you like.
Step 1:
Use a kitchen scale and measure out two equal parts of silicone A and B. A good idea is to apply a little grease to the object you want to mold, as well as to your hands. Also make sure you have a plastic surface to work on.
Step 2:
Mix and knead the putty thoroughly for about one minute, until you get a putty with a uniform color. You can work with the mixture for about 10 minutes; if you need more time, you can place the silicone in the refrigerator. Never mix too much at once, as the mixture must be used quickly and cannot be saved.
Step 3:
Make sure the silicone putty covers the entire item. All details must be carefully pressed into the putty to achieve a successful result. Also make sure you have a reasonably thick layer, otherwise the mold may crack when you remove your castings from the mold. Rub the surface until it is completely smooth.
Step 4:
The mold must cure for at least 2–3 hours at room temperature before you can remove the item from the mold. Once the item has been removed, the mold must fully cure for 72 hours.
