Papada Joselito is an air-dried specialty made from the subcutaneous fatty tissue from the pig’s neck and lower nape region. The piece consists of rind, fat marbling, and muscle tissue and comes exclusively from adult Joselito pigs, raised on a 100% natural diet.
When sliced, the papada appears firm and compact, with shades ranging from pinkish white to yellowish white and fine streaks of red, glossy meat. The texture is extremely soft, while the flavor is intense and long-lasting, with aromatic notes of thyme and rosemary.
The product is made exclusively with sea salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, and thyme and undergoes a natural aging process of more than 12 months.

Ingredients
  • Pork (papada), sea salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
Storage and serving
  • Store cool and dry until use.
  • Remove from the packaging at least 60 minutes before serving.
  • Serve at room temperature, approx. 20–25 °C.
  • A piece of papada is often placed raw over a warm serving—causing the papada to melt.

Delivery of chilled goods:

All chilled goods are shipped securely in insulated boxes with plenty of ice packs, so your package stays cold during transport. We guarantee that the package remains cold for up to 12 hours after arrival at the selected parcel shop. Please make sure to collect your package promptly. If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.

Shipping of frozen goods to private customers:

All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.

If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
