2012 Château Latour, 1st Growth Pauillac

828,03

Few in stock

Château Latour is one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious estates and classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification. The estate is located in Pauillac in the Médoc and is known for wines with great structure, precision, and a distinct expression of terroir.

The 2012 vintage is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and appears more elegant and restrained than some of the most powerful Latour vintages. However, the wine still shows the house’s classic structure, depth, and aging potential.
In the glass, the wine appears dark garnet red. The aroma develops gradually with notes of blackcurrant, Morello cherry, and blackberry, followed by classic Pauillac tones such as pencil shavings, cigar box, spices, and mineral nuances.
The palate is precise and balanced with fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity, and a long finish of dark fruit, spices, and minerality.
