Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is one of the most prestigious estates in Saint-Julien and classified as a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification. The château is known for wines of great finesse, concentration, and ageing potential, and the best vintages are considered among the most sought-after in Bordeaux.
Vintage 2018 is an outstanding Bordeaux vintage. The growing season was marked by challenges in spring, but summer and autumn offered ideal conditions with plenty of sunshine. From August to October, the stable weather conditions made it possible to harvest grapes with high aromatic intensity, deep colour, and structured tannins.
