Old Tom Gin is a classic gin with 40% alcohol and a slight sweetness. The style was widespread in the 18th and 19th centuries and has a rounder profile than a classic London Dry Gin.
The gin is distilled in a pot still with juniper, liquorice root, coriander seeds, bitter orange peel, angelica root, and calamus root. The distillate is then blended with double-distilled malt spirit, which provides a softer and more rounded structure.
