Ati Manel – the story behind it
The company is named after the great-grandfather Ati Manel, who ran his canning business all his life. The Portuguese canning industry was hit hard during the First World War and was significantly reduced in the 1930s, but experienced a new resurgence during the Second World War as demand increased.
When his estate was settled after his death, a collection of recipes, notes, printing plates, and marketing materials was found, documenting an entire era. This later became the basis for a redesign that still preserves the spirit and visual expression from Ati Manel’s time.
Today, Ati Manel continues the tradition of canned goods, where history, craftsmanship, and authentic flavor meet in one product.

If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.

All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.
If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
