Blueberry compote – wild berries with pure flavour

Andros Chef blueberry compote is made from wild blueberries from the producer’s integrated sourcing programme in Poland. It is developed without added colourings or flavourings and is therefore a natural product that preserves the blueberry’s authentic taste.
The compote has an intense fruit profile, where the berries’ natural freshness and tanginess are combined with a full-bodied sweetness. Its consistency makes it particularly suitable both as an accompaniment and as an insert in desserts.
It is supplied in flexible 1 kg pouches that are easy to store and use in professional kitchens. The product is unique on the market and gives chefs the opportunity to work with an ingredient where quality and naturalness are in focus.

Information about delivery of frozen fruit products

Frozen fruit products such as purées, juices and berries may be slightly thawed upon receipt. This is because the natural sugar component of the fruit thaws faster than the water-rich component during transport.
The products are transported in insulated packaging, and the temperature does not exceed 5 °C. Therefore, the goods can be refrozen without problems, as they are still kept at a food-safe temperature throughout transport.
Slight thawing of fruit-based products is therefore normal and does not affect the product’s quality or safety.

Andros Chef purées are made from 100% pure raw ingredients without emulsifiers or additives. This variant only has added sugar.
As the product is natural and without stabilisers, the purée may separate upon thawing into a watery part and a fruit part. This is normal and is easily recombined with a blender or immersion blender.

The purées are not finished products, but pure base ingredients developed for professional use, where chefs and pastry chefs adjust flavour and consistency themselves as needed.

If you place your order before 12:00 noon, Monday–Thursday, we will dispatch your order the same day.

  • You can expect a delivery time of 1–2 days.

Delivery of chilled goods:

All chilled goods are shipped securely in insulated boxes with plenty of ice packs, so your package stays cold during transport. We guarantee that the package remains cold for up to 12 hours after arrival at the selected parcel shop. Please make sure to collect your package promptly. If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.

Shipping of frozen goods to private customers:

All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.

If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
