Dried morels – Morchella Conica

Morels are among the most sought-after edible mushrooms, and Morchella Conica is considered one of the best. The mushroom is meaty, intensely flavored, and rich in umami, making it particularly well suited to the professional kitchen.
The morels are carefully hand-sorted, and the stem is trimmed down to 0.5 cm to avoid waste and make them ready for use.
Sizes:
  • Mini: 1–2 cm (200 g = approx. 900 pcs.)
  • Classic: 2–4 cm (200 g = approx. 200 pcs.)
  • Jumbo: 5–7 cm (200 g = approx. 100 pcs.)
  • Giga: +7 cm (200 g = approx. 40 pcs.)
Use
Dried morels are ideal for stews, sauces, and soups. They are also popular stuffed, e.g., with a soufflé forcemeat made with chicken and herbs.
Preparation:
  • Soak in lukewarm water for 15 minutes
  • Blanch for 1 minute in boiling water
  • Cool and fill with forcemeat or purée
  • Steam until the forcemeat sets, then lightly fry in butter before serving

If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.

All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.

If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
