Lemon Yuzu compote – freshness and depth
This Lemon Yuzu high fruit compote from Andros Chef combines the freshness of lemon with aromatic yuzu. The product is rich in fruit with more than 80% content and retains both the lemon juice and the fine, candied yuzu strips that add flavour and texture.
The compote is developed to bring out the fruit’s natural character. The yuzu comes from Andros’ own primary processing, where the fruits are handled gently directly from their fresh state. This ensures that aroma, flavour, and consistency are preserved in the finished compote.
The flavour profile balances the tartness of lemon with yuzu’s unique citrus aroma, which contains both floral notes and a slight bitterness. The texture is dense and fruit-rich, adding depth and complexity to the dishes it is used in.

Information about delivery of frozen fruit products
Frozen fruit products such as purées, juices, and berries may be slightly thawed upon receipt. This is because the natural sugar component in the fruit thaws faster than the watery component during transport.
The products are transported in insulated packaging, and the temperature does not exceed 5 °C. Therefore, the goods can be refrozen without any problems, as they are still kept at a food-safe temperature throughout transport.
Slight thawing of fruit-based products is therefore normal and does not affect the product’s quality or safety.

Andros Chef purées are made from 100% pure raw ingredients without emulsifiers or additives. This variant has only sugar added.
As the product is natural and without stabilisers, the purée may separate when thawed into a watery part and a fruit part. This is normal and easily recombined with a blender or immersion blender.
The purées are not finished products, but pure base ingredients developed for professional use, where chefs and pastry chefs adjust flavour and consistency as needed.

Delivery of chilled goods:
All chilled goods are shipped securely in insulated boxes with plenty of ice packs, so your package stays cold during transport. We guarantee that the package remains cold for up to 12 hours after arrival at the selected parcel shop. Please make sure to collect your package promptly. If the package is collected later than 12 hours after arrival, the right to make a complaint is void.
Shipping of frozen goods to private customers:
All frozen goods shipped to private customers are sent to thaw in the insulated box. Please order your items according to when you need them. You can always choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.
If you do NOT wish to receive your frozen goods thawed, you can purchase frozen shipping here. Please note that we only guarantee that your goods remain frozen for up to 12 hours after delivery to the parcel shop. Therefore, make sure to collect your package promptly.
